Dr. Jennifer Hirsch Doobrow is a Board-Certified Periodontist and the Owner and CEO of Periodontal and Implant Associates, Inc., located in Cullman, Alabama. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007 and completed her specialty certification in Periodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2010.

She currently serves as President of the Alabama Dental Association (ALDA) and is a Trustee for the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Doobrow is also the Past President of both the Southern Academy of Periodontology and the Alabama Society of Periodontists. In addition, she serves as Chair of WISE (Women in Implantology Supporting and Empowering), is a faculty member for the Pikos Institute, serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the Seattle Study Club, represents her district on the UAB Alumni Executive Council, sits on the Executive Committee of the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgeons, and serves on the ADA Governance and Organization Health Evaluation Advisory Task Force. She also leads a Seattle Study Club in Cullman, Alabama, where she guides continuing education efforts for dental professionals.

Her accomplishments have earned national and international recognition. In 2012, she was honored as one of the University of Georgia’s prestigious “40 Under 40,” named one of the “Top 10 Young Educators in America” by the Seattle Study Club in 2017, selected as the 2021 Most Excellent Fellow by the Alabama Dental Association, and most recently recognized with the 2026 Lucy Hobbs Clinical Expert Award. Dr. Doobrow has been inducted as a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, and the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgeons. Her alma maters have also recognized her achievements, awarding her the MUSC College of Dental Medicine Young Alumnus Award and the UAB School of Dentistry Outstanding Young Alumnus Award.

She has been featured on Lifetime Network’s The Balancing Act and the Dentistry Uncensored Podcast. Her work has been widely published in Compendium, Inside Dentistry, Dental Economics, DentistryIQ, Surgical Restorative Resource, and Perio-Implant Advisory. A respected international speaker, she lectures extensively on topics including dental implants, periodontal hard and soft tissue regeneration, and periodontal plastic surgical therapies.
